Using CTRACKER to Maximise Work Productivity for CAs

As a CA firm, you have to deal with the compliances of several clients. You also have to manage a team of managers and executives who will execute these tasks related to the compliance needs of the clients.

The following guide might help you to make the most of the Compliance Tracking Software (CTRACKER):

  1. Review the categories present and add or remove the ones not needed.
  2. Add your clients as companies.
  3. Add your managers and executives as users in the system.
  4. Create an Excel sheet in the given format from the Export Compliances section. Add all the Income tax deadlines for a typical client with recurring frequency for each activity. Put the name of the manager in the Assignor field and the name of the executive in the assignee field. Put ‘Income Tax’ in the category name. Save as CSV.
  5. Name the files suitably. Ex: IT – clientname.csv
  6. Import this file and verify that all the compliances have been imported successfully.
  7. You can create a copy of this file for every client by changing the file name and the client company name in the proper column. Then import al these files one by one and verify.
  8. Do similar sheets for other compliances like GST, ESI, PF, P. Tax, etc.
  9. Then you can add some assignments from your account to the managers for periodic review as per your working process.

This might sound like a bit of work initially but with a little effort, you can bring a high level of organisation to your day-to-day work. This will result in very efficient monitoring of your team’s work.
